Referral Program
Refer a Business. Earn Up to $1,500.
If you know a business that is frustrated with its IT support, growing past what one IT person can handle, or opening a new office, introduce us. If they sign a managed services agreement with Urban IT, we will thank you with a gift card, a credit on your bill, or a donation to the charity of your choice.
Your Thank You, Your Choice
Gift card
Sent to you once your referral pays their first month.
Credit on your invoice
Applied to your next Urban IT bill, for current clients.
Donation to a charity
Made in your name to the organization you choose.
How It Works
Three Steps, and We Do Most of the Work
1
Tell us who to contact
Fill out the short form below with your contact information and theirs. Add any context that will help us start the right conversation.
2
We reach out personally
A member of our team contacts them directly, mentions that you referred them, and learns what is going on with their IT. There is no pressure and no sales script.
3
You get rewarded
If they sign a managed services agreement and pay their first month, we send your reward. The amount depends on the size of their monthly agreement.
Reward Tiers
The Bigger the Agreement, the Bigger the Thank You
Your reward is based on the referred client’s monthly managed services agreement. You choose how you receive it.
Tier 1
$500
Monthly agreement of $1,000 or more
Paid as a gift card, a credit on your next Urban IT invoice, or a donation to a charity you choose.
Tier 2
$1,000
Monthly agreement of $2,500 or more
Paid as a gift card, a credit on your next Urban IT invoice, or a donation to a charity you choose.
Tier 3
$1,500
Monthly agreement of $4,000 or more
Paid as a gift card, a credit on your next Urban IT invoice, or a donation to a charity you choose.
Not sure which tier a business would fall into? You do not need to know. Refer them, and we will let you know which tier applies once they sign. Bill credits are available to current Urban IT clients.
Who to Refer
Know a Business in One of These Situations?
The best referrals are businesses that rely on their technology every day but do not have the right support behind it. Here are the situations we hear about most.
Unhappy with their current IT provider
Slow responses, the same problems coming back, or an IT company that only shows up when something is already broken.
Relying on one IT person
A single in-house IT employee who is stretched thin, or who would leave the business stuck if they were out. Our Co-Managed IT service is built for this.
Opening an office or starting a business
A new location, a move, or a new firm that needs computers, networking, email, and phones set up correctly from day one.
Facing a compliance or insurance requirement
A HIPAA review, a client security questionnaire, or a cyber insurance application asking questions nobody in the office can answer. See IT Compliance.
Recovering from a security scare
A phishing email that worked, a compromised mailbox, or ransomware that hit a neighbor and made them nervous. See Cybersecurity.
An office manager doing IT on the side
The person who resets passwords, calls the internet provider, and orders laptops in addition to their actual job.
We work with law firms, CPA firms, medical practices, escrow and real estate offices, nonprofits, and other professional services businesses across Ventura County and greater Los Angeles. See the industries we serve
After You Refer
Your Name Is on the Introduction, So We Treat It That Way
Referring someone puts your reputation on the line. We take that seriously. Every referral is handled by a member of our management team, not passed to a call center.
Referral Form
Refer a Business
It takes about two minutes. Fields marked with an asterisk are required.
By submitting, you confirm that you have a business relationship with this contact and believe they would be open to hearing from us. See our Privacy Policy.
Prefer to make the introduction yourself?
Copy us on an email to your contact, or call us and we will take it from there.
